Boys (5th-12th Grade) & Girls (6th-12th Grade)

Tryouts: March 16th - March 20th

Season: March 23rd - June 14th (12 weeks)

Teams will have 2 practices per week.

Practices will be held at one of the following locations: PS 183 (408 E 67th Street), PS 084 (32 W 92nd Street), or PS 192 (500 W 138th Street).

Players are encouraged to attend as many practices and games/tournaments as possible in order to get the most out of the season. While we understand that emergencies and long-standing conflicts arise - and that many athletes also participate in other spring sports - advance notice to the coaching staff is expected whenever a player will miss an event.

Practices will be competitive and will include a combination of individual skill development and team-based preparation for games and tournaments. Consistent attendance allows players to build chemistry, understand team concepts, and develop together as a unit while competing against other strong tri-state programs.

Teams will participate in 5 weekend tournaments, primarily local events in NYC and nearby New Jersey, Westchester, or Long Island. Competition will mainly include Zero Gravity, BBall Shootout, and other strong tri-state tournaments against programs of comparable skill level.

Playing time is not guaranteed to be equal for all players. While we strive to create opportunities for every athlete to develop and contribute, game minutes are influenced by several factors, including practice attendance, effort and engagement in practice, a player’s ability to listen to coaches and execute what is being taught, and the overall flow and needs of the game. Regular participation in practice is critical to individual development and team success, and players who consistently attend, compete, and apply coaching instruction will be best positioned to earn meaningful playing time.

$1,700 per season (need-based scholorship opportunities available). Can be paid in up to 3 installment.
